ASCE Grades The United States Infrastructure In June of 2021, The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) released the nationwide results of Americas Infrastructure Report Card. The overall grade of each state is judged in 8 categories. These include bridges, drinking water, energy, levees, railways, roads, transit and wastewater. The current United States average grade is a C- up from a D+ in the last report done in 2017. This improvement is a strong indicator that recent infrastructure investments have paid off. CTS was recently featured on the cover of the latest issue of CSDA's Concrete Openings Magazine. The article covers CTS contract work performed on the historic Arlington Memorial Bridge which spans the Potomac river and connects the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.The bridge has been operational since 1932 and had been undergoing temporary repairs to the deteriorating deck and roadway for several years.
