ASCE Grades The United States Infrastructure
In June of 2021, The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) released the nationwide results of Americas Infrastructure Report Card. The overall grade of each state is judged in 8 categories. These include bridges, drinking water, energy, levees, railways, roads, transit and wastewater.
The current United States average grade is a C- up from a D+ in the last report done in 2017.

This improvement is a strong indicator that recent infrastructure investments have paid off. However, a C- grade still only translates to a mediocre score declaring our infrastructure is not ready for the strain of future generations.
It will take a lot more work from all types of infrastructure contractors to bring our public works up an A rating. Hiring quality contractors to perform infrastructure improvement projects is now more important than ever. You can find more information on America’s Infrastructure report card here.
We Specialize In Infrastructure Projects
Concrete Technology Services Mid-Atlantic Inc is built to take on the most demanding infrastructure projects. We have a modern fleet of robotic demolition machines, concrete cutting saws and excavation equipment. Our top of the line equipment is paired with decades of experience in infrastructure projects of all types. In 2020 and 2021 alone, we have completed numerous public works projects including roadways, bridges, waste water treatment plants, railway systems and more.
CTS designs engineered plans to safely execute all types of infrastructure projects. Our roadway improvement contracts range from simple road sawing service work to deconstruction of historic bridges such as the Arlington Memorial Bridge.
Waste water treatment plants often rely on our large core drilling and wire sawing equipment. GPR, CCTV Pipe cameras and X-Ray scanning by Concrete Imaging Inc allows us to locate obstructions and utilities to be repaired. Slab sawing and Brokk concrete breaking equipment is capable of removing concrete slabs and decks faster than any alternative.

Infrastructure Contractors In High Demand
The need for more advanced demolition services rises with the demand for increased sustainability for infrastructure. No matter the complexity of a project, CTS will perform at the highest level in the industry.
We are excited for the future of infrastructure development and well positioned to service civil contractors up and down the east coast. Governments agencies are issuing purchase orders for improvements to roads, highways, bridges and buildings all over the United States.
Our offices in Maryland and North Carolina are able to service projects in Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
Our goal is to help improve the quality of the infrastructure and construction in America with the most safe and efficient demolition practices available.
